You may change your registered agent at any time by filing a Statement of Change of Registered Agent by Entity with the Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs.

You may complete and submit a Statement of Change of Registered Agent by Entity online via the Hawaii Business Registration Division’s Hawaii Business Express website. This procedure includes the following steps:
Access your Hawaii Business Express account.
Look for and choose your company.
Under “X-7 Statement of Change of Registered Agent,” click “Fill out Form.”
Fill out the form and submit it, along with your payment details.
Send a Statement of Change of Registered Agent by Mail, Fax, Email, or In Person.
To send a Statement of Change of Registered Agent by Entity, first download and fill out the form from the Hawaii Business Registration Division, Department of Commerce & Consumer Affairs website.
The form must be typed or handwritten in black ink. Submit it together with the filing fee using one of the methods listed below:

Send in an Annual Report
If your company’s Hawaii Annual Report filing date is approaching, you may take advantage of this filing to change your registered agent without having to complete extra paperwork.
