Structured Finance

Our practice encompasses credit card receivable, personal loan, auto loan and lease, and residential and commercial mortgage loan securitizations; solar energy finance transactions; whole-business securitizations; collateralized loan obligations; insurance-related securitizations; commercial paper programs; credit derivatives; and principal finance.

At Generis Global, we are dedicated to providing top-notch legal services to clients in the structured finance industry. Our team of experienced attorneys has a deep understanding of the complexities of this field, and we work tirelessly to provide innovative solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients.

Innovative

We have pioneered a range of first-of-their-kind securitizations, from the first securitizations of movie syndication revenues and small business loans to the first securitizations using master trust structures and collateralized debt obligation (CDO) structures.

Crafted

Through the use of structured finance techniques, more recently, we also have led the way in developing rated personal loan securitizations, many of the recent innovations in whole-business securitizations and the equity market for solar securitizations.

Asset-based lending

Receivables financing

Accounts receivable financing is an agreement that involves capital principal in relation to a company’s accounts receivables.

Supply chain finance

Supply chain finance works best when the buyer has a better credit rating than the seller and can thus access capital at a lower cost.

Consignment and title finance

With the rise of retail store bankruptcies, it has become clear that many suppliers that consign goods to retail merchants are not fully knowledgeable of the commercial law rules governing consignments.

Non-recourse structures

A non-recourse loan, more broadly, is any consumer or commercial debt that is secured only by collateral. In case of default, the lender may not seize any assets of the borrower beyond the collateral. A mortgage loan is typically a non-recourse loan.

Seamless transactions

We earn top rankings from clients, peers and media and are recognized, particularly, for our facility in handling innovative transactions. We consider each new matter with a seasoned perspective and an open mind, working with our client to structure and execute the transaction in a manner that best achieves the client’s objectives.
