Nobody enjoys getting sued. Did you know that a few basic legal papers may help you protect yourself in certain situations?
A company operator or owner will often employ the Activities Release of Liability. Before the participant is authorized to participate in the activity, the operator requires the participant to sign a form. The operator is then not accountable if the participant injures himself or herself by mistake.
Two parties may utilize the General Liability Release of Claims to settle a matter and agree that no additional claims will be raised. For example, the paper might be utilized after a fender incident. If both parties agree to pay for their own repairs and not hold the other party accountable, signing the General Liability Release of Claims prohibits either party from pursuing damages for the same occurrence at a later date.
