You may change your registered agent by using the Nebraska Secretary of State’s Corporate Document eDelivery service. This procedure includes the following steps:
Access the website by logging in.
Choose “filing for an existing entity/trade name” and look for your company.
Fill out the appropriate Change of Registered Agent form (found below)
Submit payment and upload the form as a PDF.
Corporations and non-profit organizations must have their new agents sign a consent form.
After you submit your form, it will be evaluated, and you will get an email notifying you of its submission within two to three business days.

Why Should You Change Registered Agents?
A firm may choose to change its registered agent for a variety of reasons, including:
Changing from an Individual Agent to a Registered Agent Service: While people (even a company’s own executives or employees) may operate as registered agents, they will be publicly listed in the state’s database. Some individuals may see this as an invasion of their privacy. Registered agents must also be accessible at their office between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, which might be inconvenient.
