In Dubai, you may establish a company. Mainland

Companies based on Dubai’s mainland are allowed to do business across the United Arab Emirates. The maximum limit on foreign shareholder stock, on the other hand, is 49 percent. This implies that you’ll need to find a local sponsor with whom to collaborate. Company registration in Dubai may be done at a variety of locations, some of which are listed below:

Sheikh Zayed Route — This road, which is lined with high-rise buildings on both sides, runs through the heart of the city. This area includes some of the most famous structures in the world, such as the Dubai World Trade Centre and the Emirates Towers, among others.

It is here where high-end corporate headquarters of multinational businesses may be found in large concentrations. Because of its central location, the neighbourhood has excellent connection to the rest of the city. It is a good fit for businesses in the hotel sector, for example.

Deira – One of the city’s oldest neighbourhoods, Deira was home to the city’s gold souk at one time. It is mainly home to a significant part of the city’s labour force as well as small and medium-sized businesses.

Al Qusais — This neighbourhood is well known for its cheap flats located in large, well-kept neighbourhoods. There is also an industrial zone inside the complex. Because it is near to both the airport and the city of Sharjah, it is an excellent location for logistics businesses.

Bur Dubai – This historical district is situated adjacent to Dubai Creek and is a popular tourist destination. It is particularly popular among retailers that specialise in textiles and computer accessories.

AL QUOZ (Al Quoz) – This vast region is a popular location for manufacturing businesses and warehouses because of the cheap leasing rates. As a connection between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road, this road is also known as Al Khail Road.

Establishing new companies in Dubai’s free zones

The jurisdictions of the free zones differ, and as a result, each has its own set of advantages and disadvantages. They are also advantageous for some types of business operations since they are tax-free. Find out more about it in the next section:

Seventh, the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), which is located on the city’s far western outskirts and is one of the world’s biggest free zones. It is an excellent choice for manufacturing and trade.

This free zone, located on the outskirts of Dubai International Airport and well-suited for industries such as telecommunications, information technology, aerospace and aviation, logistics, electronics, and luxury products is one of the most important free zones in the world.

Dubai Media City (DMC) — The area is home to a variety of media-related businesses, including news agencies, advertising, and television broadcasting.

Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) — Ideally suited for technology-related businesses, this region is also conveniently situated near the airport.

In addition to clinics, hospitals, and medical centres, Dubai Healthcare City (DHC) is a major transportation hub. It is an excellent choice for businesses in the healthcare industry since it hosts a large number of skilled medical professionals from all over the world.

Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) – Because it adheres to international legal standards, the region draws both local and international financial firms. This makes it easier for the businesses to conduct operations and conduct transactions.

DMCC is one of the fastest expanding free zones in the world for the trade of international commodities, and it is located in Dubai. It is home to businesses that deal in a variety of commodities, ranging from gold, diamonds, and other precious metals to foodstuffs, drinks, and industrial materials, among others.

It may be a difficult and time-consuming process to determine which region and which jurisdiction is best suited for your company’s needs.
